Paul White to Present at NILG Webinar

Tune in on January 13, 2021 at 3:00PM EST for the NILG webinar, “California Equal Pay Laws and Reporting” presented by Paul White, Ph.D., Partner in our Labor & Employment practice in Washington, DC and Lara De Leon, Partner at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP.

In March of 2021, many California employers will be required to submit to the state their employee pay data categorized by race/ethnicity and gender, as part of a new law designed to increase pay data transparency and eliminate pay disparities.  This comes on the heels of California’s continued expansion of the California Fair Pay Act of 2015, which prohibits employers from paying employees of different gender and/or race/ethnicity less for substantially similar work.  Join our presenters for a discussion of the legal and practical implications of these requirements for employers.  Topics covered will include an overview of the legislation, the information necessary to comply with the provisions, the legal and statistical considerations when conducting compensation analyses, and recommendations for employers.
