Michael Shurgot is the Chief Financial Officer of Resolution Economics LLC, an economics and statistics consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles and Chicago. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Business from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Mr. Shurgot is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the State of California. Prior to joining Resolution Economics, Mr. Shurgot was a financial consultant with the David Lewis Company. Before that he has held senior management level roles as the CFO and Director of Finance for several closely held business enterprises. Prior to this, Mr. Shurgot worked in the Audit & Advisory and Personal Financial Planning practices of the public accounting firm, Arthur Andersen LLP.

Mr. Shurgot has advised clients from the S&P 500 to smaller entrepreneurial ventures and has provided services in the following practice areas: auditing, forensic accounting, due diligence, merger and acquisition transaction support, operational consulting, tax planning and compliance, business valuation and financial planning and analysis. Mr. Shurgot has been qualified as an expert witness in federal court and has testified at both deposition and trial.
