Jeff Dominitz is Senior Director at Resolution Economics LLC, an economics and statistics consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles and Chicago. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia. A founding member of Resolution Economics, Dr. Dominitz has rejoined the firm after spending the past three years as Director of Statistics for the Philadelphia Eagles. He previously worked as Football Research Manager in the scouting department of the Washington Redskins. He has also held faculty positions at the University of Southern California, California Institute of Technology, University of Michigan, and Carnegie Mellon University, and he was Senior Economist at the RAND Corporation.
Dr. Dominitz has a wide range of experience working with private-sector and public-sector decision makers to directly impact business practices and public policy decisions. During his previous stint at Resolution Economics, Jeff served as an expert witness and was involved in every aspect of the firm’s work. He is a recognized expert in labor economics, econometrics, and survey research. His research findings have been cited in hundreds of publications including leading journals of economics, statistics, and survey methods, as well a decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. His work in football drew on his unique combination of skills and experience bringing together disparate sources of information, conducting rigorous economic and statistical analyses, and conveying findings in a clear and timely manner to improve decision making, especially player personnel decisions.
