Background

Elaine Reardon is a Partner at Resolution Economics LLC, an economics and statistics consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York, and Charlotte. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and has a broad range of research experience in survey research methodology, labor economics, and applied microeconomics. Dr. Reardon analyzes complex data for the purpose of assisting counsel in evaluating class certification and merits issues in employment matters as an expert and as a consultant. She has analyzed single plaintiff and class claims alleging age, race, and gender discrimination in hiring, promotion, termination, and pay equity. She also has considerable experience in wage and hour consulting and litigation, utilizing various data sources such as surveys, observation studies, and administrative data to assess claims for uncompensated time, regular rate, missed meals, and exempt/non-exempt status. She has significant experience in designing, implementing and analyzing scientific surveys, including drawing statistical samples and making inferences from the results. Her work has been published in the Journal of Human Resources, Law360, the Employee Relations Law Journal, and the Litigation Services Handbook.
