Our History

Resolution Economics was founded in 1998 in Southern California by a group of professionals who trace their roots back to the Dispute Analysis and Corporate Recovery Group at Price Waterhouse LLP. Over the past ten years, Resolution has grown to include over many dedicated professionals and has added partners with decades of experience with many leading consulting firms. In addition to its dedicated staff, Resolution Economics has relationships with academic affiliates who bring significant in-depth knowledge related to particular industries and issues.

The firm's formula for success has been to match outstanding qualifications, deep experience, and exceptional technical ability, with creative problem solving skills in order to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. The combination of high quality work product and excellent communication skills has led to a track record of highly effective and especially impactful analyses. We deliver results. This formula has resulted in Resolution Economics taking a leading role in providing expertise covering issues arising in employment litigation, healthcare litigation, mass-tort litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and other matters requiring analysis of large-scale complex data.

The firm's focus on complex, large-scale, data intensive problems is evidenced by the nature of its work. Resolution Economics' professionals have been involved in several hundred class-action lawsuits. Common threads to these projects are that they typically have significant economic exposure, and require strong expertise in data management, as well as statistical and econometric modeling.

The firm's practice is national in scope, with clients located throughout the country.
