SUMMARY
Mr. Boedeker provides economic, financial, and statistical consulting and expert services to clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, high technology, entertainment, manufacturing, retail, real estate, energy and utilities, insurance and financial services, as well as to federal, state and local governments. He has issued expert reports and provided deposition and trial testimony in state and federal courts and at arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Boedeker has deep expertise in applying econometric and statistical theories to develop quantitative solutions to complex business problems. He has extensive experience in employment related matters such as discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour cases. He also focuses on questions of competitive position diagnostics, forecasting of key business and economic variables, business unit development, product portfolio optimization, marketing and pricing, allocation of scarce resources, decision tree analysis, advertising effectiveness, customer relationship management, customer knowledge management, increasing customer retention, acquisition and share-of-wallet, minimizing customer churn, predicting customer behavior, determining optimal product portfolios, and identifying optimal product bundling and cross-selling opportunities.
Prior to joining Resolution Economics, Mr. Boedeker spent four years with LECG and Navigant Consulting. Previously, he was a Partner of Arthur Andersen and led their economic and statistical consulting practice. Mr. Boedeker began his career as an economic and statistical research assistant for the German government.
Mr. Boedeker holds a bachelor’s and masters degree in statistics and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Dortmund/Germany. He also received a master's degree in economics from the University of California, San Diego. Additionally, he has completed all requirements for a doctorate in economics, with the exception of a dissertation, at the University of California, San Diego.
